NIGHT SAFARI Singapore zoo 21-10-2011

after a lovel meal and cold Changi beer we embarked on the Night Safari .we travelled thru the zoo on open trams.animals close to path ,lit up by soft lighting with no fences or bars between us-lions,hyenas,zebras,rhinos,hippos etc.we got off halfway and did a nightwalk.all very p.opular,impressive,efficient and enjoyable

we really enjoyed our afternoon at singapore zoo.favourites included pink flamingos,baboons,white tigers,primates  & zebras.the working elepant show and sea lion show were excellant.the primate section was large and impressive with most not in cages but on islands-all very tropical with terrific trees and greenery.the orangutang island had no live trees and thus looked a bit so sad-so glad we saw them in the real jungle in kalimantan.two displays of probiscous monkeys=we were able to see them up closer than in kalimantan-they are faccinating to look at.

 After the temple we found a great place to eat= Chetty Vilas restaurant-open air,fabulous food and large bottles of tiger beer.then stroll back thru nightlights of Little India
